Lincoln Forum: Kinship Care in Alameda County

Join Lincoln and local and state leaders on kinship care to discuss lessons learned from the pandemic and strategies for moving forward

Please join us Friday, September 18, 2020, 9:30 – 11:30am PDT, for a virtual forum on Kinship Care in Alameda County to discuss the state of hidden foster care in the county, the impacts of COVID-19 and remote learning, and how we can move forward together to better serve caregivers raising relative's children.

Panelists include (additional panelists TBD):

·      Anabel Rodriguez, Kinship Support Services Program Supervisor, Lincoln

·      Donna Austin Moore, Kinship Program Director, Family Support Services

·      Lily Colby, Foster Caregiver Policy & Support Unit, CA Department of Social Services

Kinship caregivers, providers, attorneys, social workers, educators, policymakers, and all others interested in child welfare are encouraged to attend.
