CRYSTAL SMILEY
Human Resources Director

With more than 13 years of progressive experience in human resources, Crystal has a unique business perspective that blends a solid corporate background in the Silicon Valley high-tech industry with past success in a direct sales, home-based business and six recent years in a nonprofit healthcare setting.  She grew up in the Bay Area and graduated from Santa Clara University in 1997, earning a B.S. in psychology. Crystal maintains certification as a senior professional in human resources, which she earned in 2009. She attributes her nonprofit management experience to helping her discover the importance of purpose and meaningful work among her and her colleagues. Crystal believes that coming to work every day at a place where personal and professional needs are met by fulfilling a mission that makes a difference in the community is the best job possible.
