Chief Financial Officer

Rico received his B.A. in economics from Stanford University in 1981, his MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1983 and his M.A. in private school leadership from the University of San Francisco in 2001. Rico entered the field of not-for-profit finance in 2005 after a career in product marketing, sales and product management with IBM/ROLM and secondary school education (mathematics and Spanish). Rico has served as CFO in not-for-profits dedicated to the arts, mathematical research, elementary and secondary education. Rico also is an adjunct professor in the School of Education at the University of San Francisco, where he enjoys teaching education-based not-for-profit finance. Rico also serves on the boards of private high schools in Oakland and San Francisco. Rico is a native San Franciscan and enjoys studying French language and culture in his spare time.
