You will receive training on the confidentiality and HIPPA standards: safeguarding client information in the electronic age, HIPAA privacy rule, HIPAA security rule, breach reporting, and legal actions, as they apply to children and families in out of home care.

Kristen has experience coordinating nonprofit academic training programs in community based agency settings for many years. Currently she is the training coordinator at Lincoln's Training Institute. She holds a master's degree in counseling psychology from John F. Kennedy University.
