Clinicians and human service providers will receive an overview of current statistics on child abuse, including information regarding types, ages, victims, and perpetrators of abuse. The impact of various forms of abuse upon child behaviors and presentations for care will be presented and discussed. Types of reportable child abuse will be reviewed, as will obligations of care providers of children in out of home care as mandated reporters.

This training will also review all aspects of accurate incident reporting including how, why and when to write an Incident Report, who receives incident reports and information gathered from incident reports.
